challenged the MoU parties to ensure that the first fruit of the partnership is
a documented proposal on the incorporation of value based curriculum in the
2016 review.
He
mentioned with hope that the proposal will support the Bishops Conference in
lobbying to the Ministry of Education and the Government in general to embrace
values, competencies and needs based curriculum adding that the partnership
should also address issues of fee structure in schools, radicalization and
faith formation of young people which are becoming a challenge to the Church.

The
signing of the MoU gives the parties the liberty to hold consultations,
planning meetings, joint research on various topical issues among other
activities. The positive impact of the implementation of the MoU will lead to
the replication of the same in other Association of Member Episcopal
Conferences in Eastern Africa (AMECEA) countries.
