ETHIOPIA: Thirty Delegates from Catholic Church to attend the World Meeting of Family Congress in Philadelphia
A delegation
of 30 Ethiopians will participate in the World Meeting of Family Congress in
Philadelphia, USA. The delegation is composed of Catholic families from
different Dioceses in Ethiopia. On September 17th, 2015 the
delegation received a blessing from H.E. Cardinal Berhaneyesus, C.M at the
Ethiopian Catholic Secretariat in Addis Ababa.

His Eminence said that the delegation has important mission to share their
experiences on their return with other families in their respective Parishes
and Dioceses, throughout Ethiopia.

the delegation going from Ethiopia in the World Family Congress.

The Church
in Ethiopia has been preparing Catholic families on the theme of the congress “Love
is Our Mission: Family Fully Alive.” The prayer prepared by the Church
for the congress has also been translated into local language so that it can be
recited by all families. The World Family Congress and the upcoming Synod on
families is well communicated to the faithful in Ethiopia through the Church’s
monthly Newspaper and other forms of communication.
