urged the Clergy, Religious and Lay Faithful to be of assistance and not a

during the ordination of the New Bishop, the Apostolic Nuncio said “Bishop
Mapunda is looking for the cooperation of Priests, Nuns and faithful in order
that he fulfills his mission. Do not try to become a stumbling block to the
realization of his pastoral plans instead, be loyal to him,” he said.

the Lay Faithful of Singida for their patience and persevering in prayers
throughout the two years they have been waiting for their shepherd.

is different from men’s work; It is through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit
that the appointment of Bishops are made,” he said adding that “God does not
look out for the beauty of any person but looks at the uprightness of heart. So
I am asking you, Bishop Mapunda, take courage with your mission for that God
has chosen you because he knows your unique virtues and talents.”
