Bishops (KCCB) General Secretary after acting in the same position for ten
months.

made the General Secretary during the Bishops Plenary Assembly Meeting held on 5th
May 2015 at St. Thomas Aquinas Major Seminary.

The Bishops
decision was reached following the former General Secretary Very Rev Fr.
Vincent Wambugu’s request to continue with his studies in the United States of
America where he proceeded for sabbatical leave from August 15, 2014.

sent to KCCB staff, KCCB Chairman Rt. Rev Philip Anyolo called on the Catholic
Secretariat staff members to cooperate with Fr. Rono and to support him in
doing his work for the greater glory of God.
