the Secretariat following the death of the father of Fr. Ferdinand Lugonzo;
Mzee Josephay Makaka who passed on last week Saturday, 9 May 2015.

In his
message addressed to Fr Lugonzo on 10th May 2015, Cardinal
Berhaneyesus said, “I heard of the passing away of your dear father, Mzee
Josephat Makaka, yesterday. I would like to express my condolences to you and
to your family assuring that I shall remember him during the Eucharistic
Celebration tomorrow. May God console you and your family.”

Meanwhile,
Mzee Makaka was laid rest on Friday 15 May, at his home place in Kakamega
County. Fr. Febian Pikiti, AMECEA Pastoral Coordinator led AMECEA Secretariat
staff to the burial.
