ZAMBIA: Evangelization Should Start within the Family-Archbishop Mpundu

The 9th
National Catholic Forum (NCF) was held in Lusaka with Zambia Episcopal
Conference (ZEC) President, Archbishop Telesphore Mpundu urging evangelization
to start within the family.

Speaking at
the ceremony, Archbishop Mpundu said that the family should be the mirror to
reflect what people do as a household.
He said if
the family activities are admirable, it will attract even many to come to
Christ.

Mpundu has further pointed out that the National Catholic Forum should enhance
communication amongst the Catholic family through sharing.
He said the
developments in the NCF must trickle down to Dioceses, Parishes, work places
and consequently the family.
The National
Catholic Forum (NCF) is the by annual consultative body, reflecting the family
character of the Catholic Church where all the tribes of the Lord come together
for dialogue and pastoral planning.
The 2014
National Catholic Forum (NCF) under the theme Small Christian
Communities-Renewal and Means of the New Evangelization ran from 13th
to 14th November, 2014 at Kapingila Guest house in Lusaka and all
the Bishops attended.
The 9th
National Catholic Forum attracted 51 delegates from all the 11 Dioceses in
Zambia.
