TANZANIA: Bishop Kinyaiya Calls the Society to Support the Poor

Jesus Christ for mankind, by extending the same love to the neighbor and offer some sacrifices for the sake of others.

In his message released for the Good Samaritan Sunday on
7th September 2014 under the theme of “One Human Family, Food is for All,” Bishop Kinyaiya, who is
also the Bishop of the Diocese of Mbulu said that the Mother Church is inviting
all organizations and people of good will to support those who suffer. “Everybody should
scrutinize him or herself what sacrifice have you given for the sake of others”,
he asked.

Bishops Kinyaiya also called upon the society to think of
other tragedies such as road accidents, fire, earth quakes floods and other natural calamities that often contribute to the making people poorer than they
were before. “What are we doing to help them? he asked adding that “Whatever is
happening to your brother today might happen to you tomorrow.”

The message of Bishop Kinyaiya is in line with the message
of the Holy Father, Pope Francis delivered on the opening day of the hunger
campaign which was organized by Caritas Internationalis in December 2013; an
initiative that aims to end world hunger by 2025.
