MALAWI: Live According to What you Preach, Clergy and Religious Told

Rt Rev Michael Didi
The Bishop
of El Obeid Diocese in the Republic of Sudan Rt Rev Michael Didi has called
upon the clergy and religious leaders to live a life that can inspire young
people and others wishing to join the Catholic Church.
The Bishop
said that the youth today are very inquisitive and religious leaders must all
be ready to answer their questions. “Our lifestyle and practices should be up
to our preaching,” he urged.
“The youth
of the region need to follow the exemplary Christian life of the clergy and the
religious,” he said it in his Homily during the Eucharistic Celebrations, animated
by Sudan Catholic Bishops Conference on 21st July, 2014.
Bishop Didi
recalled that during the solidarity visit to Holy Trinity Parish he witnessed
that the faithful were freely expressing their conviction in their faith,
something that the Church in the rest of AMECEA region should adopt.
“Through our
actions we can spread the good news to others. Let us attract the youth through
our actions and our way of life…If we practice our faith in our daily lives,
others will also believe,”he urged.
