AMECEA: CUEA Celebrates its 29th Graduation Ceremony

The Catholic
University of Eastern Africa (CUEA) celebrated its 29th Graduation ceremony on
Friday, May 23th 2014 at the University’s Lang’ata Campus.

This is the
first time CUEA is holding graduation in May after the introduction of
tri-semester system of academic. In this system the University will be
celebrating two graduations in a calendar year: One in May and another one in
October.
According to
the information received from CUEA the guest of honor at the ceremony was Her
Excellency Mumbi Chilufya Phiri, Zambia’s High Commissioner to Kenya.
The
graduation was preceded by the launching of the CUEA School of Graduate Studies
on 21st May at Pope Paul VI Learning Resource Center. The
chief guest was His Grace Most Rev. Tarcisius Ziyaye, Chancellor of the
University and Chairman of AMECEA. Also present were the university Council,
Management team, lecturers and students. The dean of Graduate studies is Rev. Prof.
Clement Majawa.
The 29th
Graduation Mass celebration was held on 22nd May and was attended by
CUEA Council Members, staff and students.
