TANZANIA: AMECEA Successfully Conducts Capacity Building Training

to close on 8th May 2014 at St Mary’s Spiritual Centre in Msimbazi,

Bishop of Dar-es-salaam.
In
his message to the participants, Bishop Nzigilwa said that the fruits of the

the training. “You are the closest collaborators of Bishops, thus you need to
help them in realizing the mission and vision of your Dioceses.

Bishop
Nzigilwa challenged the participants that they should understand that Leaders
are made not born as many people think. “It is true that some people have natural charism in
leadership, but charisms only become additional values when people undergo training,” he said adding that “To acquire leadership skills somebody needs a training if one wants to become a good leader.”

On
behalf of the Conference, he thanked the Bishops Conference of the United States
(USCCB) for supporting the program for the benefit of the church in Tanzania
and the AMECEA Region. He added that the church should embrace new ideas and technology
and so establish capacities that are already in existence within the church
institutions to enhance efficiency across the region.
