The Catholic Diocese of Tombura-Yambio
launched 21 days of fasting and prayers for peace at St Mary Catholic Parish in
Yambio on Sunday 12/01/2014.
In his homily, Bishop Eduardo
Hiiboro Kussala said peace was very important for human life because God
created man in His image and no one has right to take away any life.

He added that through prayers
people can receive tranquility in their hearts, communities and the country at

The Bishop promised to solicit support
for Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) through the diocesan humanitarian
