product of wide consultations with various stakeholders of the Diocese. The
consultations were done at different for a comprising of the clergy, religious
men and women, catechist, lay faithful, experts in some ministries of the
church and cooperating partners.
The
desire of the diocese as the implementation of this new strategic plan kicks
off is to continue building on the success of the previous plan. Through this

its vision of providing a holistic service to the people of God in North

apostolate agents.
The
Social Department will handle issues such as low levels of literacy, ignorance
in governance and human rights issues, gender imbalance, HIV/AIDS and poverty;
environmental degradation, food insecurity and unsustainable means of living.
Other factors to be addressed by the social department include inadequate
healthcare and inaccessibility to education for orphans and vulnerable
children.
