AMECEA mourns the death of Right Rev. Amedeus Msarikie, Bishop Emeritus of the Diocese of Moshi,
Tanzania who passed away in Nairobi on 7th February 2013.

born in 1931 and was ordained priest on 8th august 1961 for the
Diocese of Moshi. He was appointed Bishop of Moshi on 21st
March 1986 and was ordained Bishop on 1st May 1986.

A message sent to the Tanzania Episcopal Conference (TEC) said AMECEA is united in prayers with the Conference, the
Bishop of Moshi, Right Rev. Isaac Amani and all the People of God in this difficult time. May God grant him eternal rest.
