AMECEA: CUEA VC becomes a ” Monsignor”.

The Vice Chancellor of
the Catholic University of Eastern Africa (CUEA) Rev Fr Pius Rutechura has become a monsignor, an Ecclesiastical
honorific title of the Catholic Church.
According to the
information received from the CUEA the news of his new title was officially announced by
the Apostolic Nuncio to Tanzania Archbishop Francisco Montecillo Padilla during the celebration of the official burial of the late
Cardinal Rugambwa on the 6th October 2012 at the Mary mother
Cathedral in Bukoba.
