Speaking during the third graduation ceremony, Morogoro Regional Commissioner Dr. Kebwe Steven Kebwe said that, SFUCHAS and other catholic institutes must address the challenges of health in the country and specifically in rural areas where many specialists are not willing to work.

“You are doing the same work done by the early missionaries. It should be noted that the colonialists provided social services where they had interest. But you are doing the opposite, you are giving services to all people and at all places,” Dr Kebwe said.

Meanwhile, Bishop of Catholic Diocese of Ifakara Rt. Rev. Salutaris Libena said that, the success of the college is the continuation of efforts made by Tanzania Episcopal Conference (TEC) to invest in education infrastructures.

Bishop Libena who celebrated the Holy Mass before the graduation called upon the grandaunds to be good representatives by abiding by professional standards and values.

During the graduation ceremony, a foundation stone for a Dental School was laid. The school will be named after Bishop Agapiti Ndorobo of the Catholic Diocese of Mahenge.
