KENYA: Caritas Africa Regional Communicators Team meet in Nairobi for better Working Relationship

Caritas Africa Regional Communicators Team are currently meeting in Nairobi to deliberate on better ways of collaboration to enable them improve their services to humanity.

In an Interview with Waumini News Today, one of the participants and beneficiary of the workshop Caritas Nairobi Communications and Public Relations Officer Millicent Kamau, the 3 day workshop running from 5th, – 7th, October, 2017, is aimed at empowering Caritas communication officers from different African Countries work more closes by sharing information.

Kamau said that Caritas Africa intends to ensure that the communication officers from various Caritas departments within Africa are equipped with more information and networked in order to synchronize there programs and activities.

“We are expected to set up regional and zonal Caritas Communication networks and to ensure practical ways for maintaining these networks fully operational,” she said.

She said the workshop also aims at enabling the team to identify and refer donors who can fund project curried out in different Countries and communities, promising to ensure that everything that she captures is shared by others as her first initiative to adopting the new.

The team comprises of more than 30 representation from Kenya, Ethiopia, Togo Malawi Benin, South Africa and Mozambique.
