SOUTH SUDAN: Cardinal Njue Makes a Pastoral visit to Yambio Diocese

H.E. John  Cardinal Njue is making a Pastoral visit to South Sudan upon invitation of Barani Bishop Eduardo Hiiboro; Bishop of Tombura-Yambio to ordain five priests from his diocese and one deacon from El-Obeid.
The Catholic Archbishop of Nairobi pastoral visit, apart from ordaining five priests and a deacon he will also take part in the launching of the centenary celebration of Evangelization among the Azande.
During an interview with him, Cardinal Njue said He has accepted the invitation with much pleasure also because he has the opportunity to know other part of South Sudan and witness the growth of the Church in the new country.
The ordinations will take place in Yambio Cathedral on Thursday 8th December, on the Feast of the Immaculate Conception of Mary.
On Sunday December 11, 2011 Tombura-Yambio diocese will launch celebrating its centenary of evangelization that concludes on December 12, 2012.
